BAHAM envisions a society that empowers all women to live with dignity and self respect, enjoying equal social justice and wellbeing.
Mission
BAHAM’s developmental endeavors will be focused on empowerment of marginalized women and their associated groups to highlight their social and healthcare needs. BAHAM will do this by supporting women-led health and social interventions along with advocating for social justice, equity, poverty alleviation, health and well-being.
Organizational Objectives:
- To promote right based health information, education and service delivery programs, particularly for marginalized women and communities at high risk of contracting diseases and infections of various kinds.
- To advance education, understanding and sensitivity of society in the issues mentioned above to foster the development of non-judgmental and accepting attitude for those affected by these conditions.
- To actively advocate on behalf of most at risk and marginalized women and communities for health and education programs focusing on improving their risk situations and behaviours.
- To promote efforts for poverty alleviation through vocational trainings and micro finance programs.
